- Can I invest in Pixel Qi, are you listed on a stock exchange, where can I buy Pixel Qi stock?
Pixel Qi is not a publicly listed company. It's a privately held company from time to time we open rounds of finances, but at such time we can only legally consider taking investment from qualified investors. See defination below - if you qualify.

- When can I get a sunlight readable screen in my cell phone/smart phone or conventional laptop?
We are shipping 10" screens now to device makers. We believe they will be on store shelves soon, but the device makers determine that. We are starting the design of our next generation screens now in a variety of sizes.
- When can I buy a $75 laptop?
While Pixel Qi has said that it believes a $75 laptop will be ready in 2010. However Pixel Qi isn't making a $75 laptop. We are making the screens.
We are focused on delivering screens to a gamut of low-cost computing platforms to enable lower priced laptops to evolve. Lower cost laptops won't happen without lower priced components and Pixel Qi is tackling the most and expensive and power hungry one first: the screen. To buy the laptop we suggest you stay in touch with One Laptop per Child.
- Why are you competing with OLPC?
Pixel Qi is collaborating with OLPC to continuously and dramatically lower the cost of laptops. There is no competition. Pixel Qi is providing OLPC with products at cost.
- Will you hire me?
Pixel Qi has posted job descriptions and is hiring now
- I want to buy $75 laptops for the school children in my region, what is the next step?
Please work with One Laptop per Child on this. They will be distributing Pixel Qi's products for educational use. Pixel Qi is committed to delivering OLPC products at cost. There is no cost savings by working with Pixel Qi, and OLPC is better set up to serve your needs.
- Can you elaborate on any commitments to open hardware?
We are working on this and forming a plan currently. We are taking advice from the community and well regarded experts in this area.
- When can I get a developer Kit for your 10" screen, or even just see a demo of it?
Developer kits have been shipping since early summer 2009. Please contact vivek@pixelqi.com for more information. They DIY kit is available at MAKE Magazine (www.makezine.com)
- I bought a screen at MAKE and I want to do something special with it and fit it into something - how do I do this?
Make Magazine has graciously set up a forum on their website (http://forums.makezine.com/?CategoryID=12) to enable community discussions about Pixel Qi panels.
The forums are well attended by others who have bought Pixel Qi panels and by Pixel Qi staff. Please post your question there if you can not find an answer in the forums.
